Do I need to download an app?
No. Use Needplug in your phone or computer browser. Send requests, compare prices and talk to vendors on the website. Our mobile apps are still being prepared.
What exactly does Needplug do?
We find a seller or service provider for a specific need. Send a request with your budget. Vendors in that area send their prices; those offers appear on a list for you to pick. Open details to read reviews. You can agree the price on Needplug and arrange the rest directly with them.
Can I find someone for a service too?
Yes. You can request services such as laundry, plumbing, electrical work, tailoring and AC repair, as well as products. Confirm what is included before paying.
Is it free, and who do I pay?
Needplug is free for shoppers. Pay the vendor for your item or service and agree on any delivery or call-out charges directly. Needplug does not collect your payment or currently offer escrow.
What does an identity check cover?
Vendors must pass a NIN and live-selfie review before receiving requests. This confirms identity; it does not guarantee product quality, workmanship or delivery. Check the details before paying.
How long will it take to find someone?
Vendors in your area see the request straight away. If nobody sends a price, we may check again after about 20 minutes. If we cannot find anyone, we tell you.
Can I see reviews of a vendor?
Yes. After you choose a vendor or make a deal, open details to read what other buyers wrote. You can leave one review for that request.
What if I don’t like the price?
Ask “How much last?”, or call your own price. The vendor can accept, come down or say no. When you both agree, you get a deal card with the price locked. Or ask for another vendor in chat; we show the next people who already sent a price, if someone is waiting.
What is a deal card?
The price you and a vendor agreed, with a 6-digit code and their number. Show the code when you collect, or give it to them when the item reaches you or the job is done. The vendor checks it in their Needplug account, so the price can’t change. It isn’t a payment. You pay the vendor directly, and Needplug never asks you for money.
Which cities can I request from?
Lagos only for now. Give your Lagos area. Availability depends on vendors who cover your request and area; other cities will follow when supply is ready.
What if something goes wrong?
If a vendor won’t sell at the price on your deal card, report it from the card. For anything else, contact support@needplug.ng with the request and what happened. We review vendor reports. Since payment goes directly to the vendor, Needplug cannot freeze a transfer or automatically refund your purchase.
